The beginnings of Microsoft Flight Simulator series was quite humble and began as a set of articles on computer graphics, written by Bruce Artwick about Flight Simulation using 3D graphic. Subsequently, when the idea was commercialized, improved versions followed and thereafter evolved into a long running series of computer flight games. Microsoft Flight Sim 2004 is the culmination of 20 years of developing and perfecting computer Flight Simulation.
